He began his career in wood & forestry about some 23 years ago, being drawn to the forestry and wood sector due his my passion for the preservation, protection and quality of the forest and its products as a source of income and economically viable management of his country's (Ghana) forest reserves.
Currently working full time as the General Secretary of the Timber and Woodworkers Union of TUC Ghana. Some of my key accomplishments in his career includes nominations to be a member of the Ghana Timber Validation Board set up by the Government of Ghana and also collaborating with various players in the Timber and Wood Industry to increase the recovery rate of logs(raw materials) which in turn increased the turnover rates of the industry.
His experience gathered in his career over the years has built up his proficiency in forest management, forest certification, quality control standards, high grading standard principles to meet international standards
